Sailesh is a passionate AI practitioner, with over 5 years of experience leading cross functional teams, building AI systems ground up. Sailesh has 38 approved US Patents in Machine Learning, Algorithms and System Design. As a Machine Learning Manager at 7-Eleven’s R&D, Sailesh is building state of the art Computer Vision systems for next-gen frictionless checkout experiences by leading the design and implementation of machine learning algorithms for 7-Eleven’s cashierless store and their Computer Vision based self checkout experience.

Sailesh received his Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida.
