Mathieu Le Cam is a Senior Research Scientist at BrainBox AI. He holds a PhD in Building Engineering from Concordia University, Canada and M. Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Montreal.  His research interests focus on the use of artificial intelligence applied to building energy modeling, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. In his latest work, he developed innovative forecasting models using the Julia Scientific Machine Learning framework to be implemented in model predictive control strategies for HVAC systems in buildings, in the context of building energy management.
