
Jhonatan Mateus
Jhonatan is Senior Manager of Customer Analytics at American Airlines. In that capacity, he leads a team of Data Scientists and Customer Insights Analysts with the aim of leveraging the power of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to create value for customers. Recently his team has been behind the revamping of the American Airlines Loyalty program and developing customer-centric contribution metrics for more than 100M unique customers. Previously, he held other roles at American Airlines in commercial strategy, leading fleet and airport infrastructure projects.
He also has extensive experience in commercial banking, market research, and credit risk. Jhonatan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics and an MBA from Georgetown University (Washington, DC)
