How to build real-time recognition with Kafka

This talk presents an Image recognition project that uses a normal smart phone as an IoT device that collects and sends telemetry data with an image feed. The pipeline relies on Kafka and other microservices to process the data in real time and use machine learning to recognize what’s depicted in the images and send an alert for specific objects in real time and display on a map.
